Constitution of the Moletariat

Adversarial Review Process

A reusable method for freezing consequential text, conducting independent hostile review, repairing defects, and preserving every disposition.

Current statusSupporting methodology v0.5

Public draft. Released as a conversation starter for criticism, testing, and refinement.

A useful finding identifies what the text does, not merely whether its intentions are agreeable. It follows the language through to a concrete outcome, names who benefits, and tests whether neighbouring safeguards actually stop it.

Every proposed repair should disclose what it worsens.

The method is deliberately conciliar. A draft is placed before several reviewers, objections are preserved in their strongest form, and the final editor records why each finding was accepted, rejected, narrowed, or left unresolved.

Review cycle

From frozen text to recorded disposition.

  1. 01

    Freeze the candidate

Preserve the exact text, version, date, hierarchy, and clauses in scope. Review cannot operate against a moving target.

  2. 02

    Issue a hostile brief

Ask what the operative words permit, require, prohibit, or fail to prevent. Intentions cannot rescue language that permits the opposite result.

  3. 03

    Review in parallel

Where practical, reviewers examine the same frozen text without seeing one another's conclusions. This separates independent convergence from anchoring.

  4. 04

    Normalise the findings

Group objections by the underlying defect, preserve minority findings, disclose interests, and record who benefits from each ambiguity or omission.

  5. 05

    Repair narrowly

Prefer the smallest adequate repair. Every proposed correction must state the burden, delay, false positive, lost flexibility, or new abuse route it creates.

  6. 06

    Review the repair cold

Test the isolated patch without inherited verdicts where possible. A fluent repair is not evidence that the defect has closed.

  7. 07

    Record the disposition

Accept, reject, narrow, defer, or preserve the finding as an open conflict. Consensus is evidence, not a vote, and disagreement is not deleted.

Governing rules

What keeps the method honest.

Operative text controls

A finding identifies the exact words creating the alleged result and separates textual effect from wider criticism.

Inoperative is not permitted

Failed evidence, jurisdiction, or institutions do not silently transfer authority to the strongest actor.

Reciprocity is mandatory

Reverse identities, loyalties, dependencies, and power. A rule that works only for the preferred party is not ready.

Value conflict stays visible

Where every repair damages another protected interest, declare the conflict rather than hiding it inside elastic language.

Issue ledger

Objections should survive their verdicts.

For each finding, preserve the source text, objection, reviewer, disclosed interests, disposition, editor's reasoning, repair cost, and conditions under which the issue should be reopened.

The aim is not agreement. It is an auditable path from proposition, through objection, to disposition.

Publication, adoption, or rejection of a finding remains a separate editorial decision. A minority objection may still be preserved where its proposed repair is not accepted.
